Angel’s Garage Raffles Corvette to Support the Young Center

Popular Southern California reality show, Angel’s Garage, to raffle car to benefit Coalition to Stop Gun Violence and the Young Center for Immigrant Children’s Rights

WASHINGTON, DC (August 12, 2019) – Angel’s Garage, the popular television show based out of Yermo, CA, is raffling off a one-of-a-kind 1968 Corvette Stingray to benefit the Coalition to Stop Gun Violence -- a Washington, DC - based gun violence prevention organization -- and the Young Center for Immigrant Children’s Rights -- a human rights organization that advocates for the rights and best interests of immigrant children. Raffle tickets are just $10 and can be purchased here.

This one of a kind StingRay is “... all different all over." That's the quote from the sales brochure for the redesigned 1968 Corvette. The body was completely redesigned with the coupe losing its fastback window but gaining a removable back window and removable t-tops for that almost convertible feel. The chassis itself did not change much from the 1967 model. The new hidden wipers and hidden headlights are vacuum operated instead of electrical. Door openers now use a push button to open and a push in handle to pull the door, this was only used on the 1968 model.

The raffle winner will be drawn and announced live online on Saturday, August 31 at 3pm CT. The winner does not need to be present at the time of the drawing to win and will be contacted by email or phone. The winner is responsible for the vehicle taxes and transportation of the car. About the Young Center for Immigrant Children’s Rights

The Young Center for Immigrant Children’s Rights protects and advances the rights and best interests of immigrant children. With the aid of bilingual volunteers, Young Center attorneys and social workers are appointed as Child Advocates to ensure that separated and unaccompanied children facing the U.S. immigration system are treated as children first. Young Center’s volunteer Child Advocates meet with children in federal custody weekly to make sure they are not alone, their stories are heard, and their safety and well-being is prioritized in immigration proceedings.
