Our 2022 Annual Report is now Available!
We’ve just released our 2022 Annual Impact Report. Throughout, your support empowered the Young Center’s fight on behalf of every child and every family harmed by policies and practices that deny their rights, fuel family separation, and jeopardize their safety. Without you, many of our achievements in the past year would not have been possible:
With the support of nearly 400 Child Advocate volunteers, across 19 states, we served 1,643 unaccompanied children from 45 different countries.
Among 20 policy recommendations and 4 bills introduced, our Policy team spearheaded the introduction of the Children’s Safe Welcome Act, a landmark congressional bill that aims to expand protections for unaccompanied children.
Our newly launched Technical Assistance Program responded to 45 requests to provide case consultations and training to professionals and court advocates who serve the growing number of immigrant children caught between the federal immigration system and state court systems.
