Family Separation on Our
Street Corners: The Young Center’s
Real-Time Response
March 26th, 2026 at 1:00 PM EST
Across our communities, shifting federal policies and aggressive immigration enforcement actions are once again separating children from their families. Unlike the family separations of 2018 at the U.S. southern border, separations are now unfolding on our own street corners. What does this look like in real time? How are advocates responding? What does it take to reunify these families in 2026? Our first webinar in a new three-part series pulls back the curtain on the realities of hostile immigration policies and the rapid response work unfolding across our programs and communities.
