Who are Young Center Changemakers?
Young Center Changemakers for Immigrant Children are individuals across the globe who believe every immigrant child deserves to be safe, free from detention, and with their families in community. They help spread the word about the Young Center’s work, build community, and take meaningful action to support immigrant children wherever they are.
Changemakers are part of a growing movement to uplift immigrant children’s voices, connect others to the Young Center’s mission, and inspire change in their communities worldwide.

Interested in boosting the Young Center’s existing fundraising campaigns? Ambassadors are also invited to join us for phone banking events, to support online giving drives, and to support key fundraising events such as our annual Elizabeth Frankel Waymakers Challenge!
Advocate for Children
Be a voice for change. Changemakers receive alerts with simple ways to advocate for policies that protect immigrant children, like signing on to campaigns, sharing messages with your networks, or participating in national advocacy efforts.
Host a Changemaker Salon
Create a welcoming space for conversation and connection within your community – whether in your home, office, virtually or community space. Location permitting, the Young Center can provide materials or even a guest speaker to help spark dialogue and inspire your guests to become donors, volunteers, and advocates for immigrant children’s rights.
Lend Your Skills
Whether it’s photography, catering, music, or another talent you think could benefit the Young Center during one of our events, let us know! We are always looking for new ways to get you involved.
