Narrative Change
We amplify the voices of children and youth by engaging them in ethical storytelling.
Storytelling
At the heart of the Young Center are the children whom we serve. We believe all children deserve to be agents of their own story. Rarely, however, is this the case for unaccompanied immigrant children in custody whose voices, experiences, and journeys have been heavily shaped by issues of immigration policy, family separation, detention, and more.
In our all of our work—from Child Advocates’ Best Interests Determinations to our Policy Briefs—we seek to create opportunities for children to share their experiences through creative storytelling opportunities supported by our staff and communications experts. Additionally, we support, uplift and amplify youth-led immigrant initiatives and organizations.
