Young Center’s Impact

With now over 100 staff members and hundreds of volunteers in 10 cities across the U.S., we have expanded our work. Our team is not only providing direct services to children, but also works to change immigration law and policies by advocating directly with federal agencies, educating members of Congress, engaging in litigation, and fostering intersectional advocacy. We are also fighting to bring greater equity to the child welfare system, so that children in immigrant families who face family court cases may also remain safe, free, and with families in communities where they are supported.

Thanks to our growing and dedicated community of staff, volunteers, donors and partner organizations, the Young Center has transformed lives and made tremendous progress. Over the past 20 years, we have accompanied and advocated for over 7,000 children from more than 70 countries around the world.
